SAC-AIDS SPOKESPERSONS
The primary goal of the SAC-AIDS Spokeperson on HIV/AIDS program is to serve as a face of SAC-AIDS and conduct interviews. We choose people who are familar with our organization, our mission and the purpose of our Edu-tainment programs. We desire spokepersons who are confortable speaking to reporters and doing television and radio interviews.
With the given qualifications, we at SAC-AIDS are happy to present to you the following Spokepersons on HIV/AIDS:
Michelle Lopez
Diagnosed with HIV after the birth of her second child, Michelle Lopez fought the loneliness and isolation that accompanied that diagnosis and became not only an advocate for herself and her daughter, but for other immigrants and women living with HIV. Michelle tells her story in her own words (Personal Bio from "The Body" website): "I got tested because someone that I was having a sexual relationship with died from the AIDS virus. Patience Ozokwo
“MaMa G,” as Patience Ozokwo as best known, hails from the Eastern region of Nigeria. She caught the bug for acting during her school years when she played the role of Hamlet in Shakespeare’s classic drama, “Hamlet” in an all girl’s school. “Hamlet” was received so well, Patience started traveling with the show. Iniobong Edo Ekim
Iniobong Edo Ekim is a Nollywood Actress from Eket inOnna LGA of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. She is the second (2nd) child in a family of four (4).She holds a diplomat in Theatre Arts from the University of Uyo in 2001 and a degree in English Language (BA HONS) from University of Calabar in 2006. Raven Lopez
Raven Lopez is a vibrant young women in her community. Raven is eighteen years old and she lives in the borough of Brooklyn. Raven attends Brooklyn South shore high school and is a senior preparing for college at Simmons University; Raven wants to be a Special Education certified Teacher working with children. Raven’s passion grew due to her experience as a child that was born HIV Positive and having to utilize the NYC board Of education system as a child diagnosed as learning impaired. .Read Raven's Bio.
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde is a Nollywood actress. She is married to Capt. Matthew Ekeinde and has 4 children.
Apart from being one of the most successful Nollywood actresses, she is also a singer and is involved in extensive charity work in her home country of Nigeria.
