From The President

As we reflect on the challenges of the past year visions and Strategic planning for the coming year, I applaude the continued commitment and dedication of Management Staff, Board of Directors, Advisory Board and Spokespersons of Save Africa Concerts foundation. I also apprehend our commitment and loyalthy to our support organizations, the Gilead Sciences Inc, BronxAIDS services,Angeldocs, Arik Air, UNAIDS African Health Care Foundation Zambia, Xtreme Brite, Mon Utopia Idenle I PR, Sha Designs and Tuff Gig Entertainment, for the privilege and honor of supporting and working with us in this important assigment.

This past year we strived to improve on our dissemination technique that will enhance populace more understanding of HIV/AIDS. Determining the effectiveness of this initiative led us to embark on more result oriented outcome on prevention-education, information series, couseling and testing through “entertainment” , “Focused group” and “Shared forums”

I am pleased to note that our
i. “Be Free!Live Free” Helth Movement
ii. Beyond the Tears
iii. SAC media publications
iv. SACAIDS Kingdom Project

Were able to deliver results on continued efforts to meaningful reachout and involvement. Our “focused Group” and “Shared Forums” program for addresing views and opinions introduced in the course of community program gave us more insight on the complexity, understanding and belief system of people on HIV/AIDS and other health issues.

Through this, our Research and Publication unit are gingered to publish literatures on pertinent techniques on health issues in the coming year. Our Challenges this year had stemmed from SAC reaching to the inner cities of America and rural populace in Africa to creating awareness on the need to utilise entertainment and concerts in reaching out on issues of prevention and testing of HIV/AIDS as well as other health issues. Inspite of these challenges,SAC has maintained integrity, core values, community and United Nations involvement but most importantly having people to test was our most pirioty this year.

These challenges will continue in the coming year from having SAC on the frontline of edutainment, providing entertainment and education on the crisis as well as developing initiatives.
Our major constraint was funding and breaking barriers to people engraved with belief system. Our stronghold in the coming year is to adopt more intiatives that will not only provide with education and information dissemination but also accord with the opportunity of utilizing adequate incentives to reach the greater number of the population especially in breaking strong personal hold barriers.
This is a strategy we need, passion and commitment of partners, government funding agencies, private sectors , citizens and other NGOs for funding and material supports.

Thank you
Hardy Jimbes,
President
