Dr. Fidelis Ubadigbo

Dr. Fidelis Ubadigbo Dr. Fidelis Ubadigbo is the Educational Program Consultant for the Iowa Department of Education. He is responsible for the development and improvement of the education program in the Local Education Agencies (LEA) and Area Education Agencies (AEA's) in the State of Iowa .

He is also the Perkins Consultant for Area Education Agencies responsible for the approval and monitoring of Federal and State sponsored vocational and technical programs in community school districts and in the community colleges. Dr. Ubadigbo is also involved in the review of applications as well as the approval and monitoring of Federal sponsored Tech Prep programs.

Dr. Fidelis Ubadigbo conducts the evaluation of career and technical programs in the 15 community colleges that constitutes the community college system. He conducts annual reviews of selected programs and assists in the state accreditation process for Iowa 's community colleges. Dr. Ubadigbo is highly involved in educational research and a member of the federal review team involved in the review and approval of research applications for the Federal Department of Education grants. Dr. Ubadigbo is also highly visible in his community. He is involved in organizing sports for youths as well as counseling youths against drugs. He continues to be committed to the education of youth in the inner city of Des Moines .
