Dr.Ada Okika
International Coordinator
Holds a Doctoral degree in Education and Family/Child Psychology,an M.Sc degree in Psychology and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Nigeria. She is the Executive Director of IRENE MENAKAYA SCHOOL, a private school in her Native town, Onitsha, Nigeria for children from six months to fifteen years and Children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. She has over eighteen years of Teaching and Education Administration Experience and has been involved with HIV/AIDS project for Teenage youths and children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in rural cities of Anambra State, Nigeria. She has in the past eight years been a dedicated educator and activist on various aspects of HIV/AIDS and had organized seminars in this dimension. She currently runs a pet project in her school for education of these children orphaned by HIV/AIDS parents of less Privileged Homes.
Dr Okika enjoys writing and is the author of fifteen books currently used in pre-school, nursery and elementary schools in the Nigerian Educational System. She has three manuscripts on publication awaiting release and currently working on Teenage Youths HIV/AIDS Handbook, a vision she developed in the course of her experiences with teenage youths on her HIV/ AIDS project. She has attended many conferences and seminars on HIV/AIDS in many parts of Nigeria and Africa. She is now the international coordinator for Save Africa Concerts Foundation.
